We're newsy!
Meals on Wheels and More is an important part of the Austin community, and we take our role seriously. Every day, through our many varied programs, our case workers and staff members are in contact with some of the city's frailest residents. Newsworthy issues such as health insurance, food security, nutrition, property taxes, childhood hunger and obesity, and poverty, just to name a few, affect our clients.
MOWAM is a trustworthy source in the community that can help lend perspective to many current issues. If you are a journalist interested in doing a story about MOWAM or need a source for a story, please send us an email or call 476-6325 x. 131.
